Leslie "Jackie" Sandoval

Leslie Sandoval is a mexican graphic designer who loves cartoons and it is reflected in their art.

Born and raised in Tijuana, they grew up with a love for art and and animals. Eventually, they went on to graduate with a major in Digital Graphic Design, looking to focus their creativity on their career path.

Growing up their parents encouraged their creativity and worked hard to give them an education they never had.

Growing up a single child, their best friend and secondary care-taker was the family’s TV set and VHS tape collection, where anime like Ranma 1/2, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, cartoon shows like Spongebob Squarepants, the Fairly Oddparents, Avatar: The Last Airbender and movies like The Beauty and the Beast, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Kill Bill were a huge influence on their art style, sense of humor and love for storytelling.

They have kept on drawing since childhood, going from traditional art and evolving to digital art, doing commission illustrations, zine editing and merchandise design.

Leslie is currently working on their own merch store, on two webcomics and is open to further work, interested in delving in the comic book industry.
